The Speedmaster is already a legend of a wristwatch. But when Omega took its special Grey Side of the Moon iteration and customized it for the Porsche Club of America back in 2017, they truly outdid themselves.
The 'Grey Side Of The Moon' fuses elements of the Speedmaster Professional that we all know with some modern upgrades.
Housed in a 44.25mm ceramic case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a ‘Dot Over 90’ tachymeter bezel, it features a grey, ceramised titanium dial with applied luminous indices, a matching handset, a dual-register chronograph layout, and a date window at 6:00.
Powering the watch is an incredible power plant, the Omega Co-Axial Caliber 9300. An automatic column wheel movement, it has the unusual feature of an independently adjustable hour hand, which can be jumped in both directions. (If you’re a traveler, this is incredibly handy.) Said movement is visible via a sapphire exhibition caseback featuring the Porsche Club of America logo and the watch’s individual LE number.
Fitted to a grey and yellow perforated leather strap with a signed ceramic pin buckle, this Speedy ships in as-new condition with its factory goodies.
